Dr. Jihoon Son is a distributed system engineer at Gruter, which is a Hadoop-based big data infrastructure company of South Korea. He is one of the co-founders of Apache Tajo project, and now working on distributed query processing and query optimization of Tajo. He has several speaking experiences at international conferences such as ACM International Workshop on Data Engineering for Wireless and Mobile Access (MobiDE) and International Conference on Data Engineering (IEEE ICDE).
